Troopers said a 59-year-old New Port Richey woman was traveling northbound on US-19. She lost control of her Ford Taurus and slammed into a utility pole.

Pinellas County, FL. – Two people were severely injured after a traffic collision on Tuesday morning in Pinellas County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The accident occurred at about 7:20 a.m. on US-19.
Troopers said a 59-year-old New Port Richey woman was traveling northbound on US-19 when she lost control of her Ford Taurus and slammed into a utility pole.
The woman and her passenger, a 44-year-old New Port Richey man, were severely hurt and flown to a local hospital for treatment.
No additional information concerning this crash was provided.
