According to the Washington State Patrol, the crash happened on Mount Baker Highway near Bell Creek Road at around 10:30 a.m.
A 2009 Mazda 3 driven by a 62-year-old man was westbound on Mount Baker Highway when it crossed the centerline and collided head-on with an eastbound 1992 Toyota 4Runner driven by a 27-year-old.

The driver of a Toyota 4Runner was taken to PeaceHealth St. Joseph’s Medical Center with serious injuries.
