Bonita Springs, FL. – A bicyclist was killed after a traffic collision on Monday evening in Bonita Springs, Lee County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The accident occurred at 7:36 p.m. on May 18, on South Tamiami Trail.
Troopers said the cyclist was struck and killed by a white truck for reasons still under investigation.
The bicyclist was declared dead at the crash site.
Two lanes of northbound Tamiami Trail were blocked after the collision.
