Hancock County, IN. – A 43-year-old woman died after being struck by a vehicle on Monday morning in Hancock County.
According to the Hancock County Sheriff’s Office, the accident happened at the intersection of County Road 300 North and County Road 700 West at around 1:15 a.m.
The woman was struck by a vehicle in unclear circumstances. The vehicle fled the scene and the driver was yet to be located.
The woman was found unresponsive in the roadway and appeared to be suffering from severe trauma.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
