Silver Springs, NV. – A pedestrian died after being struck by a vehicle on Wednesday night in Silver Springs.
According to the Nevada Highway Patrol, the accident happened on U.S. 50 near Rockey Road at around 11:40 p.m.
A pickup truck was traveling westbound when it veered off the roadway and struck a light pole before striking a pedestrian traveling in the dirt area of the highway.
The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.
