Las Vegas, NV. – A pedestrian was injured after being struck by a vehicle on Saturday morning in Las Vegas.
According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, the accident happened at East Flamingo Road and South Maryland Parkway at around 9:46 a.m.
A pedestrian was running southbound across East Flamingo Road when she was struck by a westbound 2009 Hyundai Sonata and was thrown onto the roadway.
The pedestrian was taken to the hospital with critical injuries.
The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the police.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
