Cape Coral, FL. – Two children were injured after an electric scooter accident at a shopping plaza in Cape Coral on Thursday night in Cape Coral, according to the Cape Coral Police Department.
The accident occurred on May 7 at The Shops at Surfside Plaza.
Police said two children were riding together on an electric scooter when they were struck by a vehicle in unclear circumstances.
The children sustained non-life threatening injuries.
Police did not say if anyone will be cited or charges are pending.
