The woman and a 31-year-old Fort Wayne resident in the parked vehicle were transported to the hospital for treatment
Fort Wayne, IN. – Two people were injured in a suspected DWI crash on Tuesday morning in Fort Wayne.
According to Indiana State Police, the crash happened at Dupont Road and Tonkel Road at around 8:30 a.m.
A vehicle driven by a 29-year-old woman was eastbound on Dupont Road when it swerved left, drove into a concrete median and struck a parked vehicle at a Walgreens parking lot.
The woman and a 31-year-old Fort Wayne resident in the parked vehicle were transported to the hospital for treatment.
The woman faces several charges, including operating a vehicle while intoxicated.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
