St. Petersburg, FL. – Police are investigating a traffic collision that killed a72-year-old man on Sunday afternoon in St. Petersburg, according to the St. Petersburg Police Department (SPPD).
The accident occurred a while before 2:45 p.m. on May 3 on southbound 5724 Tanglewood Drive Northeast.
Police said a white Lexus RX350 struck a parked Ford Escape.
The man was taken to Orlando Health Bayfront Hospital where he succumbed to their injuries.
No one else was injured in the crash.
Police said the man appeared to have sustained a possible medical episode following the crash.
