Peoria, AZ. – A woman was killed and a man severely hurt after a rollover collision on Friday night in Peoria, according to the Peoria Police Department.
The accident occurred at about 10:30 p.m. on May 1, near 85th and Peoria Avenues.
Police said a driver was heading east when he lost control when making a curve. The vehicle went off the road and overturned.
A man and a woman were ejected from the crash following the collision.
The 42-year-old woman, the car passenger, was declared dead at the crash site.
The driver was rushed to the hospital for treatment of life-threatening injuries.
It was not immediately known whether speed or impairment played a role in the accident.
