Police said a motorcycle and a black Honda crashed for unknown reasons.
Berkeley, IL. – A motorcyclist was killed after a traffic collision early Sunday morning near Berkeley, according to the Illinois State Police.
The accident occurred a while before 1:00 a.m. on May 3, on Interstate 290 eastbound at Interstate 294.
Police said a motorcycle and a black Honda crashed for unknown reasons.
The rider was rushed to an area hospital where they were declared dead.
All lanes were closed and traffic diverted to southbound I-294 until around 6:30 a.m.
No additional details regarding this crash were provided.
