A teenage passenger was pronounced dead at the scene

Wabash County, IN. – A juvenile was killed in a car crash on Wednesday evening in Wabash County.
According to Indiana State Police, the crash happened on County Road 700 West, south of County Road 850 North at around 6 p.m.
A southbound vehicle driven by a 19-year-old man left the roadway for unknown reasons and struck a tree.
A teenage passenger was pronounced dead at the scene.
The 19-year-old driver was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries.
Police suspect speed and intoxication were factors in the crash.
