Eureka County, NV. – A 60-year-old woman was killed in a car crash on Tuesday afternoon in Eureka County.
According to the Nevada Highway Patrol, the crash happened on Interstate 80 near mile marker 1 at around 1:40 p.m.
The woman was driving a green Mazda Tribute westbound on Interstate 80 when she failed to maintain travel, entered the dirt center median, and lost control.
The vehicle overturned and came to rest with its wheels facing east in the dirt median.
The woman was taken to Battle Mountain General Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
