Effingham County, IL. – At least two people were injured after a traffic collision on Monday afternoon in Effingham County, according to the Illinois State Police Troop 9.
The accident occurred at about 9:06 p.m. on April 27, on westbound I-70 near milepost 86.
Troopers said a truck-tractor semi-trailer and a passenger vehicle crashed for unknown reasons.
At least two people were hurt and rushed to a local hospital for treatment.
Lanes were blocked following the collision. The roadway reopened at about 12:14 a.m.
