Las Vegas, NV. – A pedestrian was injured after being struck by a truck on Saturday morning in Las Vegas.
According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, the accident happened on South Las Vegas Boulevard at Sahara Avenue at around 2:47 a.m.
A gray 2014 Ram 2500 made a left turn from Las Vegas Boulevard onto Sahara Avenue and struck bus shelter where a pedestrian was located. The driver fled the scene of the crash.
The pedestrian was transported to UMC Trauma with life-threatening injuries.
The driver was arrested for on suspicion of DUI.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
