2 Teens Killed, 5 Injured in Car Accident at Cornfield Way and American Farms Road in Milton

2 Teens Killed, 5 Hurt After Vehicle Crash at Cornfield Way and American Farms Road in Milton

Milton, FL. – Two teens were killed after a traffic collision on Friday night in unincorporated Milton, Santa Rosa County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

The accident occurred at around 11:25 p.m. on April 24, at the Cornfield Way and American Farms Road.

Troopers said a pickup truck was heading east on Cornfield Way and an SUV was heading north on American Farm Road. The two cars crashed at the junction.

The pickup truck then crashed into some trees and rolled over.

A 19-year-old woman and a 19-year-old man, pickup truck occupants, were thrown off the vehicle. They were declared dead at the crash site.

A 19-year-old woman, also in the pickup truck, sustained critical injuries due to the collision. Three other men, ages 18 and 19 and 20 sustained severe injuries. The 20-year-old was the truck driver.

A 57-year-old woman, the SUV driver and the only occupant, suffered minor injuries due to the crash.

All the victims are Milton residents.

An investigation by the Florida Highway Patrol Traffic Homicide unit is underway.
