The woman was taken to the hospital where she later died
Posey County, IN. – A 38-year-old woman was killed in a motorcycle accident on Wednesday afternoon in Posey County.
According to the Posey County Sheriff’s Office, the accident happened at the intersection of State Road 62 and West Franklin Road at around 2:45 p.m.
A silver-colored Yamaha motorcycle was traveling eastbound on State Road 62 when it collided with a westbound Chevrolet Silverado that was turning south onto West Franklin Road.
The woman riding the motorcycle was taken to the hospital, where she later died.
The male driver of the truck did not sustain any injuries.
