Police said the driver was trying to exit the school parking lot onto Dundee Road when he left the roadway, hit a pole which struck the staff member.
Buffalo Grove, IL. – A staff member was severely injured after a car accident on Tuesday afternoon in Buffalo Grove, according to the Buffalo Grove Police.
The accident occurred at about 3:20 p.m. on April 21, at Buffalo Grove High School.
Police said the driver was trying to exit the school parking lot onto Dundee Road when he left the roadway, hit a pole which struck the staff member.
The staff member was rushed to the hospital in a critical condition.
Authorities closed Dundee Road for more than three hours following the accident.
The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with police.
An investigation is underway.
