Madison County, IL. – One person was injured after a two-vehicle accident on Monday afternoon in Madison County, according to the Illinois State Police.
The accident occurred a while before 3:45 p.m. on April 20 on southbound Illinois 255 at Gateway Commerce Center Drive.
Police said two vehicles crashed for reasons still under investigation. One car overturned onto its side.
One driver was taken to a local hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
All lanes reopened at 5:03 p.m.
