9 People Including Children Injured in Crash on West Sunrise Boulevard in Fort Lauderdale

Nine people were taken to the Broward Health Medical Center for treatment. Seven of them were severely injured and were listed as trauma patients. Three of them were children.

Fort Lauderdale, FL. – Nine people including children were injured after a minivan collision on Sunday evening in Fort Lauderdale, according to the Fort Lauderdale Fire Rescue.

The accident happened a while before 9:00 p.m. on April 21, in the 500 block of West Sunrise Boulevard.

Fire officials said two minivans, a white Dodge minivan and a red Dodge Caravan crashed in unclear circumstances. The white Dodge overturned on its side and the red Dodge was significantly damaged after the accident. 

Nine people were taken to the Broward Health Medical Center for treatment. Seven of them were severely injured and were listed as trauma patients. Three of them were children.

No additional information concerning this crash was provided.
