The two drivers were taken to the hospital with minor injuries
DeKalb County, IN. – Two people were injured in a suspected DUI crash on Thursday night in DeKalb County.
According to the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office, the crash happened at the intersection of County Road 40 and State Road 1 at around 7:30 p.m.
A 30-year-old man was driving westbound on CR 40 approaching the intersection when he struck the rear of another vehicle that had stopped at the stop sign.
The two drivers were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
The 30-year-old man was arrested and faces several charges, including OWI and possession of a firearm by a serious violent felon.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
