Troopers said a 31-year-old woman from Tampa was heading south in a Toyota Corolla on Dale Mabry Highway when a Jeep Compass halted in the center lane, north of Village Drive. The Jeep was operated by a 32-year-old woman from Orlando.

Tampa, FL. – Four people were injured after a multi-car accident on Saturday night in Tampa, Hillsborough County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The accident happened at about 9:50 p.m. on April 18, on Dale Mabry Highway.
Troopers said a 31-year-old woman from Tampa was heading south in a Toyota Corolla on Dale Mabry Highway when a Jeep Compass halted in the center lane, north of Village Drive. The Jeep was operated by a 32-year-old woman from Orlando.
The Toyota hit the back of the Jeep forcing it forward where it crashed into a Dodge Challenger operated by a 38-year-old man from Tampa.
The three motorists were taken to hospitals for treatment. A Jeep passenger, a 44-year-old man from Minnesota, was also hurt in the crash.
Further details concerning this crash were not released.
An investigation is underway.
