Troopers said a 25-year-old man from Titusville was driving in the area when he failed to negotiate a left-hand curve and his car went off the road. The vehicle rolled over into a canal fully submerging the vehicle underwater.

Brevard County, FL. – A Florida man was killed after a traffic collision early Thursday morning at an intersection on Merritt Island in Brevard County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The accident happened at about 2:00 a.m. on April 16 at the Blackpoint Wildlife Drive and L Pond Road intersection.
Troopers said a 25-year-old man from Titusville was driving in the area when he failed to negotiate a left-hand curve and his car went off the road. The vehicle rolled over into a canal fully submerging the vehicle underwater.
The man was declared dead at the crash site. His passenger, a 43-year-old woman of Titusville, was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
