Tazewell County, IL. – A pedestrian was injured in a traffic collision on Friday morning in Tazewell County, according to the Illinois State Police.
The crash occurred at about 5:50 a.m. on April 10 on Interstate 74 over the Murray Baker Bridge.
Police said a pedestrian was struck by a car in unclear circumstances.
The pedestrian was rushed to the hospital for treatment.
Police closed westbound lanes of I-74 from the flyover to Washington Street in East Peoria for several hours following the crash.
