Police said the mother was driving a white sedan when she most probably had a medical episode and ran a red light causing the crash.

Sierra Vista, AZ. – Two children, 7 years and 9 years, were killed and their mother critically hurt following a traffic collision on Tuesday morning in Sierra Vista.
According to the Sierra Vista Police Department, the accident occurred at about 7:30 a.m. on April 7, at SR 90 and Coronado Drive.
Police said the mother was driving a white sedan when she most probably had a medical episode and ran a red light causing the crash.
The white sedan was heading north on Coronado Drive while a white pickup truck pulling a trailer was heading east on the SR 90 Bypass. A gold sedan on the other hand had halted in the west left turn lane and was turning from Highway 90 onto Coronado Drive. The white sedan did not stop at the red light and crashed into the truck.
The two cars swerved and crashed into a gold sedan. The truck then overturned onto its side before catching fire.
One of the three gentlemen riding in the truck was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Two kids in the white sedan were killed in the accident. Their mother was taken to the hospital and was listed in a critical condition.
No other information concerning this crash was provided.
