Santa Fe County, N.M. – A 64-year-old woman was killed in a suspected DUI crash on Saturday afternoon in Santa Fe.
According to the Santa Fe County Sheriff’s Office, the accident happened on US Highway 285 at Avenida Eldorado at around 4:25 p.m.
A Nissan sedan driven by a 21-year-old man and a Toyota pickup truck were involved in the accident.
The 64-year-old driver of the pickup was ejected from the vehicle and was taken to the hospital, where she succumbed to injuries.
The Nissan driver was taken to the hospital and later arrested on several charges, including vehicular homicide.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
