Wells County, IN. – A 19-year-old man was killed in a high-speed crash on Sunday afternoon in Wells County.
According to the Wells County Sheriff’s Office, the crash happened on Blackford County Road 600 East.
A 21-year-old man was driving a BMW northbound at a high rate of speed when he lost control, crossed the center line, and crashed into a utility pole. The car rolled into a field.
A 19-year-old passenger was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver and the other 20-year-old passenger were taken to the hospital with injuries.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
