Cave Creek, AZ. – Two people were seriously injured after a truck accident on Friday evening in Cave Creek, according to the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office.

The accident happened on April 3, near Harold’s Cave Creek Corral, just off Cave Creek Road.

Deputies said a Chevrolet pickup truck left the parking lot of Harold’s and was driving recklessly when it struck a halted GMC truck, eight parked motorcycles and three persons.

Two people were taken to the hospital with severe life-threatening injuries. One of them sustained a significant abdominal laceration while the other one had a head injury.

A third person was treated for minor injuries.

The involved suspect allegedly showed signs of impairment. He was processed for DUI and charges are pending.

An investigation is underway.
