Markham, IL. – One person was injured after a multi-vehicle accident late Monday morning in the south Chicago suburb of Markham.
According to the Illinois State Police, the accident occurred at 11:58 a.m. on April 6 on northbound Interstate 57 at 159th Street.

One of the occupants was transported to the hospital for treatment. Their condition was not immediately released.
Police closed the on-ramp to northbound I-57 after the crash. The ramp was reopened by 12:30 p.m.
