Portales, N.M. – A 29-year-old motorcyclist was killed in a high-speed crash on Tuesday afternoon in Portales.
According to the Portales Police Department, the crash happened at the intersection of US Highway 70 and East Spruce Street at around 5:00 p.m.
A semi-truck and a motorcycle were involved in the accident, but limited information was available regarding the events leading up to the accident.
The 29-year-old male motorcyclist succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
