Indianapolis, IN. – One person was injured after a pick-up truck crashed into a building on Thursday morning in Indianapolis.
According to the police, the accident happened on West Troy Avenue near South Meridian Street, at around 5:30 a.m.
A GMC pickup truck was traveling westbound on Troy Avenue when it left the roadway, struck foliage and crashed through a home and into another home. A portion of the home collapsed after a collision.
The pickup driver was taken to the hospital with unknown injuries.
A passenger in the pick-up passenger was not injured.
Police do not suspect impairment was a factor in the crash.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
