Chicago, IL. – One person was injured after a semi-truck accident on Wednesday morning in Chicago, according to the Illinois State Police.
The collision occurred at around 6:51 a.m. on March 24 on northbound Kennedy Expressway near Kostner Avenue, just before the 90/94 split.
Police said a semi and two vehicles collided in unclear circumstances.
One person was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
Large pieces of sheet metal blocked the right three lanes of the highway following the collision.
