Collier County, FL. – A Massachusetts woman was killed after a chain-reaction collision on Monday morning in Collier County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The accident happened on March 23 on Interstate 75.
Troopers said two vehicles were stopped on the Freeway. Three vehicles slowed down but a semi-truck failed to slow down. The semi crashed into an SUV causing a chain-reaction and a six-car collision.
Two people from Massachusetts were in the SUV at the time. One of them, a 69-year-old female passenger, was declared dead at the crash site.
No additional information regarding this collision was released.
