Troopers said a 78-year-old woman from Sarasota was heading northbound when she crossed the centerline and crashed into an SUV.
Keystone Heights, FL. – One person was killed after a head-on collision on Wednesday evening near Keystone Heights, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The accident happened on State Road 21 at Southeast Second Avenue near the entrance of the Keystone Golf Course neighborhood.
Troopers said a 78-year-old woman from Sarasota was heading northbound when she crossed the centerline and crashed into an SUV.
The woman was declared dead at the crash site.
The SUV driver sustained minor injuries.
Troopers closed State Road 21 at the entrance of the Keystone Golf Course neighborhood at SE 2nd Avenue following the collision.
No other information concerning this crash was provided.
