Reno, NV. – A scooter rider was killed in a crash on Tuesday evening in Reno.
According to the local police, the crash occurred on Sun Valley Boulevard near Gepford Parkway at around 6:50 p.m.
A vehicle was traveling southbound on Sun Valley Boulevard when it exited the road and struck a woman riding a scooter.
The vehicle went into a ditch and overturned.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the vehicle was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
