A 24-year-old Corbett resident was pronounced dead at the scene

Clackamas County, OR. – One person was killed and three others were seriously injured in a two-vehicle collision in Clackamas County on Saturday evening, according to the police.
The fatal collision happened around 5:44 p.m. on March 14 on Highway 26 near milepost 31.
Police said a Nissan Frontier was traveling eastbound on the highway when it crossed into the westbound lane and collided head-on with a westbound Honda Accord.
The Nissan driver, a 35-year-old from Rhododendron, was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
The driver of the Honda, a 19-year-old from Gresham, and a passenger, were also taken to a local hospital with serious injuries.
Another passenger in the Honda, a 24-year-old from Corbett, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The accident closed the highway for about five hours.
The police are investigating the accident.
