Troopers said a pickup truck was heading north on Ecofina River Road when it went off the road and onto the east shoulder in unclear circumstances. The pickup driver steered the car to the left causing it to rotate.
Taylor County, FL. – A 76-year-old man was killed after a single-vehicle accident on Sunday evening in Taylor County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The accident happened on March 15, on Ecofina River Road.
Troopers said a pickup truck was heading north on Ecofina River Road when it went off the road and onto the east shoulder in unclear circumstances. The pickup driver steered the car to the left causing it to rotate.
The vehicle re-entered the road, continued to rotate, the car travelled across both lanes and onto the west shoulder before the front of the truck crashed into a tree.
The driver was transported to an area hospital where he died.
No other information concerning this crash was provided.
An investigation is underway.
