The semitruck driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the police

Greensburg, IN. – A 69-year-old man died after being struck by a semitruck on Thursday afternoon in Greensburg.
According to local police, the accident happened on State Road 3 at Freeland Road at around 4 p.m.
The man was walking on SR 3 when he was struck by a semitruck driven by a 53-year-old man.
The man was taken to Decatur County Memorial Hospital and later flown to Eskenazi Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
The semitruck driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the police.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
