The driver of the Toyota was flown to hospital with serious injuries
LaPorte County, IN. – A 47-year-old man was seriously injured in a suspected DUI crash on Sunday evening in LaPorte County.
According to the local police, the accident happened at State Road 2 and County Road 100 South at around 8:45 p.m.
A Buick driven by a 21-year-old woman was traveling eastbound on State Road 2 when she crossed the center line and collided head-on with a Toyota driven by a 47-year-old man.
The driver of the Toyota was flown to hospital with serious injuries.
The woman was taken to the hospital with unknown injuries.
The woman was charged on Tuesday with several charges, including operating while intoxicated.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
