Las Vegas, NV. – A 64-year-old motorcyclist was seriously injured in a crash on Tuesday afternoon in Las Vegas.

According to the local police, the accident happened at the intersection of East Viking Road and South Pacific near South Eastern Avenue at around 1:53 p.m.

The motorcyclist was traveling westbound on East Viking Road when an eastbound 2022 Chevrolet Equinox turned left to go northbound, entering the path of the motorcycle.

The motorcyclist struck the passenger side of the Chevrolet and was ejected from the bike.

The 64-year-old man was transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The driver of the Chevrolet remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.

Impairment is not suspected as a factor in the crash.

An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
