Chicago, IL. – A woman was killed after a hit-and-run pedestrian accident on Tuesday night on Southeast side Chicago, according to the Chicago Police Department.
The accident occurred a while after 10:00 p.m. on March 10, in the 2100 block of East 83rd Street.
Police said a woman was struck by a driver and was left lying in the roadway. She was rushed to the hospital by emergency crews. The 32-year-old woman was declared dead at the hospital.
The involved driver fled the scene after the crash.
