A 92-year-old man was taken to Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center where he later died.

Palm Beach Gardens, FL. – A 92-year-old man was killed in a three-vehicle collision in Palm Beach Garden on Sunday, according to the deputies.

The fatal collision happened at the intersection of Alt. A1A and Atlantic Road.

Deputies said a 2017 Toyota RAV4 was traveling southbound in the left-turn lane of Alt. A1A while a 2014 Dodge Charger was traveling northbound in the inside lane, approaching Atlantic Road. A 2016 Kia Soul was traveling behind the Dodge.

The Toyota turned left into the path of the Dodge Charger, resulting in a collision.

The impact pushed the Toyota northeast and it came to a rest on the sidewalk.

The Kia swerved to avoid the accident and hit the passenger side of the Dodge Charger. 

The Dodge Charger veered northeast after the collision and came to a stop on a sidewalk.

The Toyota driver, a 92-year-old woman, and his passenger, a 92-year-old man, were taken to Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center where the man later died.

No other information was available.

The collision remains under investigation.
