Peoria County, IL. – According to the Peoria County Sheriff’s Office, an 11-year-old was severely injured, three others sustained minor injuries following a side-by-side utility terrain vehicle crash on Friday night in Chillicothe, Peoria County.
The accident occurred at around 9:05 p.m. on North Route 29.
Authorities said the UTV hit a culvert on the roadway.
The 11-year-old girl sustained severe non-life threatening injuries.
Three other individuals riding in the UTV sustained minor injuries.
Authorities confirmed the motorist was issued several tickets.
