Both victims were taken to the hospital where they later died
Silverton, OR. – One person was killed and another was injured in a pedestrian accident in Silverton on Thursday evening, according to the police.
The fatal accident happened around 6:50 p.m. on March 5, at the Silver Place Apartments.
Police said two pedestrians were struck by a vehicle in unclear circumstances.
Both victims were taken to the hospital with serious and life-threatening injuries, where one of them later died.
The driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with the investigators.
Police are investigating the accident.
