Oswego, IL. – A 79-year-old woman was injured after a traffic collision on Thursday afternoon in Oswego, according to the Oswego Fire Protection District.

The accident occurred at around 2:28 p.m. on March 5, on 2510 Route 34 in the parking lot near the Ulta Store.

Authorities said an Oswego woman was crossing the access road into the parking lot when she was struck by a Chrysler Pacifica turning left onto the access road from the parking lot.

The woman was rushed to Copley Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The 51-year-old female from Yorkville and her passenger were not hurt in the crash.

The accident happened on private property and there were no signs of reckless driving or impairment.

No one was cited.

An investigation is underway.
