Four people were transported to the hospital with injuries
Raton, N.M. – Four people were injured in a multi-vehicle crash on Wednesday afternoon in Raton.
According to local police, the accident happened on Interstate 25 at Raton Pass at around 2:32 p.m.
A wide load truck and escort vehicle were parked on the shoulder of the roadway when a semi-truck traveling northbound rear-ended the wide load truck and struck the escort vehicle.
The escort SUV involved in the crash caught fire.
Four people were transported to the hospital with injuries.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
