Romeoville, IL. – A pedestrian died after a traffic collision early Sunday in Romeoville, according to the Illinois State Police.
The accident occurred at about 12:40 a.m. on March 1, on southbound I-55 near Weber.

The pedestrian was rushed to an area hospital where she was declared dead.
All southbound lanes closed briefly after the crash. The roadway was reopened a while after 5:00 a.m.
