The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.

Columbia County, OR. – One person was killed and two others were injured in a motorcycle accident in Columbia County on Thursday evening, according to the police.
The accident happened around 5:39 p.m. on February 26 on Highway 30 near milepost 64.
Police said an Indian Chieftan motorcycle driven by a 32-year-old man from Kalama, WA, was traveling eastbound on the highway. It was negotiating a sweeping right hand turn when it crossed the centerline into the westbound lane and sideswiped a westbound Toyota 4Runner. It then crashed head-on into a westbound Toyota Rav4.
The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the 4Runner, a 32-year-old Astoria resident, and passenger, a 60-year-old man from Astoria, were taken to a local hospital with minor injuries.
The driver of the Toyota Rav4, a 73-year-old man from Ocean Park, WA, was uninjured in the accident.
The accident closed the highway for four hours.
The authorities are investigating the accident.
