One person was airlifted to the hospital with unknown injuries

Sparks, NV. – Two people were injured in a crash involving a sedan and a semi-truck on Thursday morning in Sparks.
According to local police, the crash happened on Interstate 80 near Patrick at around 9:16 a.m.
A sedan and semi-truck were heading westbound when the sedan crashed into the the semi-truck.
The semi-truck’s fuel tank was ruptured after the crash.
One person was airlifted to the hospital with unknown injuries.
The other person sustained injuries and was transported to the hospital.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
