Troopers said a woman was driving a truck west on U.S. 27 when she swerved off the roadway to the left. Her vehicle flipped over and struck several trees along the highway.

Fort White, FL. – A 56-year-old woman was killed after a traffic collision on Thursday night in Fort White, Columbia County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The accident happened at about 8:30 p.m. on February 26 on U.S. 27 near Southwest Junction Road.
Troopers said a woman was driving a truck west on U.S. 27 when she swerved off the roadway to the left. Her vehicle flipped over and struck several trees along the highway.
The female driver was declared dead at the scene.
She was reportedly not wearing a seat belt at the time.
